VIII.         Committee Reports:

Kim gave a quilt report.  Some ladies are working on a quilt to donate to Pennypacker Mills so they can raffle it off for money.  We will mail Pennypacker the money we have collected through the year from raffle ticket sales.  Dianne Wepy and Mary Archibald agreed to finish off the quilt.  Kim will contact the person in charge at Pennypacker to find out what date they want it.  She would also like to have a picture taken of the quilt ladies and write up an article for the Civil War News.

Kay Lingle informed us that our ad is in the Civil War News and runs from Nov. ’04 to July ’05.

The Christmas Party Committee is planning the party for next Saturday, January 15th at 5:00 at the Marietta Meeting House.  Cost is $11.50 per person and due ASAP.  Civil War clothing is welcome but not required.  Bring a $5 to $10 gift that is wrapped.  Games, food and dancing will be the activities.

IX.              New Business

Nominations and voting ballots were passed out. All nominees were voted in.

Since some military people also go civilian we may need to look at this in the future, as they may be able to vote both ways.

X.                 New Items Business

Events:  The Springfield Armory event is the same weekend as Pennypacker.  Bill Magargle was invited to do Chamberlain.  After the 29th Mifflin Guard meeting in Downingtown we will know further events.  Bill Magargle and Joe Coleman will attend this.  The School of the Soldier and Civilian will meet at the National Guard Armory in Wilkes Barre.  No date yet.  Bill Magargle will again do Chamberlain at Appomatox.  The registration for this must be in by Feb. 15th or you cannot attend.  There is a limited number and they will turn people away.  Get your registration in early.

James Meisenbach was approached by a gentleman in Gettysburg that informed him of a March to Destiny on June 24, 25 and 26 in Shippensburg.

Kim asked if we want to continue with the every other month meeting being a special speaker or presentation after our meeting.  If so we need something for February.  There was no feedback.

XI.              Meeting adjourned.
